A Starbucks drive-through is coming to Oxnard’s RiverPark development, reports the Ventura County Star. Additional tenants slated for the massive mixed-use project include other restaurants like Shake Shack, a 120-room hotel, an apartment complex and more.
This is the second Starbucks being planned in the L.A. area that What Now Los Angeles has reported on in the last month. Another drive-through site was recently approved for Harbor City.
These new outposts are in line with the Seattle-based coffee giant’s ambitious growth plans. In Q1 of this year, the company opened 549 stores globally, bringing the brand one step closer to its goal of opening 17,000 new locations by 2030.
With spring right around the corner, Starbucks recently launched a new line of lavender drinks, available for a limited time, including the Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha and the Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte. They are also featuring merch developed by artist Shea Anthony for Women’s Month as part of the Starbucks Artist Collaboration Series.
An opening date for the new Oxnard location has not been announced.
