Steak 48, the upscale fine dining restaurant found throughout the country, is making its California debut in Beverly Hills, located at 9680 Wilshire Blvd.
This location, opening sometime this winter, will be the company’s fifth, with another site coming to San Diego’s Del Mar in Spring 2023. Fans of USDA prime steaks and seafood can find Steak 48 in Houston, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Charlotte. The restaurant’s parent company, Prime Steak Concepts, is also behind other high-profile steak and seafood restaurants such as Steak 44, Dominick’s, and Ocean 44, all in Arizona. The new restaurant will move into the former home of Faconnable.
Steak 48, owned and operated by brothers Jeffrey and Michael Mastro, their father Dennis Mastro, and partner Scott Troilo, takes pride in serving the finest steaks and high-quality seafood in an intimate and vibrant setting. The new restaurant features an in-house butcher shop and raw bar. Customers can expect the highest quality of food, such as a custom-cut 28-day wet-aged steak by hand for cooking in an 1800-degree broiler or Wagyu beef brought in from the Mishima Reserve.
The meats, many of which are sourced from Midwestern farms, are not the only delicious item on the menu. The kitchen also offers quality seafood such as colossal shrimp, Alaskan king crab, Maine lobster, Rock shrimp mac & cheese, and freshly shucked East and West Coast oysters. As for drinks, customers can expect hand-crafted cocktails made from local ingredients, a selection from an impressive scotch collection, or the restaurant’s wine vault featuring about 3,000 bottles.
