Vegan subs and sandwiches are headed for Garden Grove.

“The banner is up for our first location,” Subvegan posted to Instagram a few weeks ago. “We are working on a few interior esthetic details, stay tuned for more updates.”

The restaurant also hinted that a second location would be opening soon.

Next door to the newly-opened 7 Vegan Market, Subvegan will reportedly be opening this month. It’s from the same owners as 7 Vegan, too.

The company gets its name from the seven continents of the world, according to its social media. “We are sharing a sustainable and compassionate lifestyle through delicious vegan foods from seven continents with you!”

Subvegan’s second location will be opening in Costa Mesa across from South Coast Plaza, but the timeline isn’t clear. While Owner Linda Hong Ta confirmed the plans in a telephone conversation with What Now Los Angeles, the restaurateur did not comment further.
