Supreme Crab, a casual Cajun-style seafood restaurant with locations in Northern California, is expanding to Burbank with a new location slated for 109 Palm Ave.
The Burbank location will be the concept’s first in Southern California and joins a wave of new openings in the city’s downtown and surrounding neighborhoods, according to a recent liquor license application. The new restaurant joins other recently announced businesses, including Nick the Greek, Firehouse Subs, and Flow Coffee + Wine Bar. An official opening date has not been announced yet.
Known for its fun, laid-back atmosphere and Cajun seafood boils, Supreme Crab emphasizes fresh, locally sourced ingredients and customizable spice levels. The concept offers a variety of seafood options, including shrimp, crab, mussels, and clams, paired with house-made sauces that combine spicy, sweet, and tangy flavors.
In addition to classic seafood boil offerings, Supreme Crab allows customers to reserve live seafood from local farms, which is then prepared to order. The brand describes itself as a “fun-filled Cajun seafood destination” with a focus on flavor, freshness, and social dining.
Supreme Crab is operated by Chen Bin Huang, who is connected to several other Asian and seafood-focused restaurants in California, including Seapot Hot Pot and Q Pot. The Burbank location is expected to follow the same casual dining model that has made its Bay Area locations popular with groups and families.
Supreme Crab will join a growing list of new businesses that have opened in Burbank in recent months, contributing to the area’s ongoing commercial momentum. Recent arrivals include tea shops, gyms, wine bars, and a mix of fast-casual and full-service restaurants, such as Jam Jam Tea Lab, Chubby Dumpling, Wax Poetic Wine Bar, Handel’s Ice Cream, and The Girl & The Chicken.
