Tabula Rasa Wine Shop, a new wine shop from the same owners of the Tabula Rasa Bar, is set to open in North Hollywood, located at 5124 N. Lankershim Blvd.

The new wine shop will move into a 2,000 square-foot location with a 140 square-foot tasting area, according to a case filing for the restaurant submitted to the City of Los Angeles. There is no set a date for the wine shop’s opening. Tabula Rasa Wine Shop will replace ACME Comedy, a well-known comedy club that has been around since 1989.

Much like Tabula Rasa Bar, located at 5125 Hollywood Blvd, Tabula Rasa Wine Shop will be open for bar service and retail, offering several wines, beer, and food variations. Both will be owned and operated by Zach Negin. The original location’s menu includes smoked organic wings and the famous Cuban sandwich.

“We opened Tabula Rasa Bar in September 2016 with the vision of creating a neighborhood bar that serves superb wine, beer, and food,” according to their website. “In the Spring of 2020, during the pandemic, we pivoted to a retail experience to continue to nourish and support our community and hope that you feel just as special and connected with us here!”
