Tectonic Coffee is opening its first-ever cafe at 1040 N Fairfax in West Hollywood. Established in 2016, the brand offers blends, single origin coffees, coffee subscriptions, and commercial and home equipment. The inaugural storefront is slated to open this winter.

According to Tectonic’s website, the cafe will feature state-of-the-art machinery that automatically tracks and gathers data on every step of a brew’s journey, “from the farm to your cup,” enabling them to be “one of the most consistent coffee brewers and baristas around.”

Specializing in direct trade coffee, founder Deaton Pigot personally travels to and collaborates with local producers to source Tectonic’s beans, which have earned a number of Golden Bean Awards. Pigot is a second-generation cafe owner from Australia with nearly 20 years of experience in roasting, sustainable coffee buying and wholesaling.

Pigot could not immediately be reached for comment.
