Teriyaki Madness started out as a Seattle-based restaurant that has turned into a substantially large franchise, branching out to Las Vegas before opening up locations across the country. This new location, at 9851 Mason Ave in Chatsworth, is about to jump into construction at a space within The Gateway at Lassen.

Alongside Teriyaki Madness, Popeye’s and J&K Nails Bar already sit within the same building as part of the 8.23-acre shopping center project. Three of those tenants have not yet been announced. As part of the same project, a four-story 124 room Marriott Residence Inn Hotel will stand just behind Teriyaki Madness. One of the older buildings, dubbed “the Hercules building” since a previous tenant sold Hercules typewriters, will house a Planet Fitness. It will be one of the only original remaining buildings in the area.

While Teriyaki Madness is slated to begin construction soon, Popeye’s and J&K Nails Bar are currently operating in their respective spaces.
