Wilshire’s Thai Dishes is opening a new location in Mid-City, located at 2628 Wilshire Blvd.

The company will move into the former home of Malbec Argentinean Cuisine sometime this year. Thai Dishes has an extensive variety of Thai cuisine made with high-quality ingredients. The company takes pride in its famous Chicken on Fire, with the freshest poultry served in a slightly sweet and very spicy plum sauce. Another house specialty is the Thai Salad with bean sprouts served with our famous peanut sauce. The company has locations in Santa Monica, Westchester, and Manhattan Beach.

Despite Wilshire Boulevard being a hub for various eateries, there are few Thai restaurants in the area. When the new Thai Dishes opens, it will have to compete with two Thai Vegan locations. Other than that, Thai Dishes should have plenty of customers from those exploring Wilshire Boulevard or are visiting Douglas Park, which is only a couple of blocks away.

“Authentic Home-Style cooking Thai cuisine,” according to the company’s website. “Every dish can be specially prepared from mild to extra spicy. Dine-in, take out & delivery offered for lunch and dinner daily. Vegetarian dishes available. Here at Thai Dishes we pride in bringing the best food to our customers in the most comfortable and welcoming environment. Whether it is to celebrate a birthday or special occasion or a casual dinner night, we strive to have our customers leaving us with a happy smile and belly.”
