A brand new concept called The Dirty Pepperoni is getting ready to open in Long Beach at 149 Linden Avenue, Ste C.

This new eatery is set to move into the former home of Waters Edge Winery, according to a recent liquor license application. The 2,056-square-foot restaurant space is currently being renovated to become The Dirty Pepperoni. The space, known as The Broadlind, offers a fully equipped kitchen, including a 10-foot fully vented hood, floor sinks, and 12 taps with a walk-in cooler, according to LoopNet. It’s unclear exactly when this new restaurant will open or what will be on the menu, but it will likely be a pizza-focused concept.

The team behind The Dirty Pepperoni includes Michael Uriate, Lev Kim, and Tod Somerville. Uriate, known as MikeyLoco on Instagram, owns Dirtbags California, a boutique Harley-Davidson service shop based in Long Beach. Lev Kim and Tod Somerville are also local entrepreneurs with experience in the hospitality industry. Together, the trio brings a mix of creative vision and operational knowledge to the new venture.

This will be an excellent location for this new concept, considering it is situated in the heart of Long Beach’s East Village Arts District, a vibrant area known for its walkability and proximity to public transportation. The building is a historic mid-rise structure with a mix of retail and residential spaces, including a boutique hotel on the upper floors. This prime location offers excellent visibility and accessibility, making it an ideal spot for a new dining concept. The area attracts locals and visitors, offering substantial foot traffic throughout the week.
