A brand new concept called The Grapevine is getting ready to debut in Glendale at 231 N. Brand Blvd.
The new restaurant will move into the former home of Chess Park Lounge, according to a liquor license application from last year that is still pending. This is the latest from the Grapevine Group, led by Gary Taglyan, the Executive Director at Taglyan Cultural Complex and the Founder of Divine Food and Catering. Taglyan declined to provide details to What Now Los Angeles, saying the company is not ready to discuss further. It’s also unclear exactly where The Grapevine will open.
Although details about the new concept are still limited, expectations are high for the upcoming venture. Since 2007, Taglyan has played a significant role at the Taglyan Cultural Complex, which offers much more than just a stunning backdrop for noteworthy events in Southern California, including entertainment shows, fashion displays, and political ceremonies. The venue features beautiful European-inspired décor and a custom-crafted 5,000-square-foot stained glass ceiling that consistently leaves guests in awe. Additionally, the event center provides five-star cuisine, handcrafted artisanal cocktails, and a variety of custom menu and dining options.
He is now set to help establish an exciting new dining concept in a bustling area of Glendale along Brand Boulevard. The Grapevine is likely to attract plenty of customers, given the abundance of nearby hotels, museums, cinemas, and movie theaters, making it an ideal location for dinner. Additionally, being near the Glendale Galleria, which draws thousands of shoppers daily, will further enhance the new concept’s appeal. Despite the lack of detailed information, Glendale will soon welcome a new dining option.
