According to the Long Beach Post, the music-themed Hard Rock Hotel could be coming to Long Beach’s downtown area, on the corner of Ocean Boulevard and Pine Avenue. Mayor Rex Richardson will confirm the news during a private event on Monday (11/13) at 3:30 pm.
A long-standing proposal for a hotel at the bustling intersection describes a “building at least 30 stories tall, with around 429 rooms, 25,000 square feet of ballroom and meeting space, and 15,000 square feet of restaurant and rooftop deck areas,” says The Post.
Presently, it is unclear which food and beverage brands will occupy the massive square footage, but, historically, the company hosts upscale eateries, bars, and lounge concepts, including some eponymous creations like Florida’s Hard Rock Sports Bar.
The hotel will find itself nestled directly across Seaside Way from The Long Beach Convention Center and The Pike Outlets, down the road from Shoreline Village, and just adjacent to restaurants Ruth’s Chris and RISU.
