A recently-filed ABC application from brothers Jonnie and Mark Houston of Houston Hospitality details a concept called Night Cap coming to the former Sayers Club at 1645 Wilcox Avenue.

What Now Los Angeles reached out to Mark Houston for comment on the exciting incoming project but did not immediately hear back. However, given the brothers’ prolificity, much is known about their various themed nightlife joints splattered all around LA.

In 2008, the Los Angeles-born twin brothers opened Piano Bar before launching La Descarga, Harvard & Stone, Pour Vous, No Vacancy, Dirty Laundry, Good Times at Davey Wayne’s, their first restaurant Butchers and Barbers, and an 80’s oasis, Break Room 86 at The Line Hotel.

What’s more, the duo is responsible for the forthcoming Level 8 — a new multi-dimensional dining, drinking, and entertainment concept at The Moxy and AC Hotels (1260 South Figueroa Street).

As eccentric and well-curated themes permeate the brothers’ many venues, it’s Night Cap’s certain destiny to inevitably become a concept-based business with a detailed vision sure to transport guests to a different world.
