The Ravine Club, a forthcoming sports bar and restaurant, is getting ready to open in Los Angeles at 1391 W Sunset Boulevard, just outside of Dodger Stadium.
While the restaurant hasn’t been officially approved yet, co-owner Hank Chilton has submitted a request to allow the sale and on-site consumption of a full line of alcoholic beverages. The team is aiming for an early 2026 opening, according to a statement from Chilton on LinkedIn. Once open, guests can expect a lively sports bar with full food and drink service, designed to serve both locals and fans heading to or from the stadium.
The new restaurant will open in the former home of Button Mash and Poltergeist, and will join a growing wave of new businesses catering to the area’s foot traffic and entertainment crowd. Public records indicate the building will be undergoing tenant improvements, but no formal construction timeline has been announced.
The project comes from Hank Chilton, a TV and film writer/producer who’s now expanding into hospitality. In a LinkedIn post earlier this year, Chilton described the need for more sports bars near the stadium and said the idea for The Ravine Club grew out of that gap in the market. He and his partners are currently seeking investors to support the buildout.
“Hey folks – I’m doing something new – my partners and I are opening a sports bar & restaurant just outside of Dodgers Stadium, where there has been a dearth of sports bars,” Chilton wrote on LinkedIn. “The Ravine Club. Opening early 2026. We are looking for investors.”
Positioned near one of LA’s busiest venues, the Ravine Club has the potential to become a go-to pregame or postgame hangout. The Echo Park address also benefits from steady neighborhood traffic and continued growth in the area.
