TikTok’s famous Nashville Hot Chicken restaurant, The Red Chickz, is expanding throughout the country, adding new locations in Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Orange County.

The company recently announced within the first 100 days of 2022 that they have signed 18 units and have more than a dozen deals in the pipeline in Houston, Texas, and densely-populated areas in California. By Fall 2022, The Red Chickz will expand into Los Angeles, San Diego, Long Beach, Fresno, and Orange County through franchise agreements. The first location to open will be the upcoming corporate-owned Culver City location, expected to open in early June.

“We could not be happier to expand and share our unique take on Nashville Hot Chicken with more hungry customers in California and Texas,” said founder Shawn Lalehzarian. “The response to our mouth-watering content on Tik Tok has been overwhelmingly positive, with many users begging us to open locations in their cities, and we are so proud to have found franchise partners who will help us do just that.”

The exact locations and franchise owners of the new California locations are unknown, despite efforts to reach Lalehzarian. This expansion proves the company is gaining influence and momentum in the fast-casual dining space and has no plans to stop soon. Lalehzarian, an Iranian immigrant who learned English by working in many different roles in the restaurant industry, founded The Red Chickz in 2018.

“When I first came up with the concept for The Red Chickz, I knew I had the tools from working with many national brands to open multiple locations, but the popularity on social media and strong demand for our food helped us realize that we could expand sooner than originally planned,” said Lalehzarian. “We are so thankful for the love and support we have received so far, and we can’t wait to bring our concept to cities across the nation and beyond.”
