Malibu Brewing Company appears to be working on a second location in Agoura Hills. The local beer brand recently applied for a liquor license at 29281 Agoura Rd. for beer manufacturing, a general eating place, catering and events.
Owner Ryan Ahrens had been a homebrewer for many years before opening MBC’s flagship taproom in 2022 as Malibu’s first brewery. In addition to their core beers, the brand brews several different styles of limited release craft beers from stouts to pilsners. Customers can also order dishes including a number of handhelds, sharables, flatbreads, salads, bowls, charcuterie boards, and creative desserts like their 21+ Boozy Ice Cream (churned with Stargazer Nitro Stout).

An opening date for the new location has not been announced. Ahrens did not immediately respond to WNLA’s request for comment.
