Helmed by legendary Chef Costas Spiliadis, the acclaimed Greek seafood restaurant estiatorio Milos will make its California debut in Century Plaza along Constellation Blvd. Opening late next year, the L.A. location will be its tenth worldwide.
Known for its exquisite seafood and philoxenia (which roughly translates to hospitality in Greek), estiatorio Milos features a variety of freshly caught fish, just-harvested oysters, caviar, a raw bar, Greek spreads, salads, meat options and more.
Chef Spiliadis was born in Patras, a port city near the ancient Greek village of Olympia. After moving to New York City to study at NYU and later at Concordia University in Montreal, he opened the first estiatorio Milos in Montreal in 1979. He places emphasis on keeping the integrity of his simple yet high-quality ingredients intact, and has long developed close relationships with the fishermen and farmers of Greece.
“The simple, healthy, and straightforward Greek Cuisine could not find a better home away from the Greek islands. The spectacular space at the Century Plaza will be transformed into a true temple for showcasing the best gifts of the land and the sea in which Californians and people of the world will experience the true food of the Mediterranean,” Chef Spiliadis said in a release.
estiatorio Milos’ other outposts include Montreal, Athens, London, Las Vegas, New York, Miami, Los Cabos, Dubai and Milos at Sea.
