Tulsi Indian Eatery, the plant-based “modern Indian” restaurant, is making its way to Westwood Village, located at 10916 Lindbrook Dr.

The company’s third location will move into the former home of Veggie Grill, first spotted by Toddrickallen. This new location, across from Westwood Village Square, will open sometime next month in August 2022, according to a post on the company’s social media. Tulsi Indian Eatery, led by CEO Chirag Shah, CMO Amjadkhan “AP” Pathan, and Director of Operations Antonio Kanickaraj, has served Los Angeles County in Northridge and Downtown Los Angeles.

When the new location opens next month, customers will get to explore over 18 culinary flavors from the regions of India. For those who have never experienced classic Indian flavors, there are elements of sweet, rich, tart, salty, and spicy. Rather than the one-dimensional style of typical Indian restaurants, Tulsi Indian Eatery offers three types of daal soups, bread, and rice, as well as various entrees, apps, and desserts.

“We are proud to present a one-of-a-kind vegetarian and plant-based Indian food concept twenty years in the making,” according to the company’s website. “Our very ambitious goal is to bring Indian food into every neighborhood and every home in the United States through our relaxed and contemporary fast-casual eateries. Gone are the days of one-dimensional curries and sloppy side dishes.”
