A brand new upscale Mexican restaurant called The Hideaway is making its way to Rodeo Drive, located at 421 N. Rodeo Dr.
The new restaurant, which is part of the overall Rodeo Collection, will move into the former home of De Mori sometime this summer, according to Eater LA. Guests can expect a sizeable lush patio in addition to a busy bar and plenty of booths and nooks to hide away in. This new restaurant is the latest project from DCB Hospitality Group, a Southern California hospitality group that also operates Warwick, The Lincoln, Firefly, Habana, Mesa, and many more.
The new restaurant will move into a vibrant neighborhood filled with flashy restaurants and retailers like Bijan and Vera Wang. Rodeo Collective’s website says the new restaurant will offer “vintage decor and romantic vibes,” as well as a service button at tables that read “push for tequila.” The new development includes a new cafe called Nahid La Patisserie, expected to also open sometime this summer. Barman Julian Cox will oversee the debut cocktail program for The Hideaway.
Additional details regarding the new restaurant are still up in the air. What is known is that this will become a highly-sought eating destination in Los Angeles’ most lavish neighborhood. The Mexican restaurant will have very little competition on Rodeo Drive, having to work against Cantina Frida and a few national chains such as Chipotle Mexican Grill and Shaky’s Woodfired Mexican Grill.
