Verde Paradiso, a new culinary destination offering three distinct dining experiences, is set to open in West Hollywood at 8336 Melrose Avenue.
The company’s new location is set to replace Pantry LA in February 2026, according to a recent liquor license application. Founded by Roman Rey-Chavent and David Marvisi, former owners of Arden Restaurant, and joined by Vincent Benoliel, who also owns Michelina and Savta at The Grove, Verde Paradiso will bring a unique concept to the area. Rey-Chavent tells What Now Los Angeles that the restaurant will feature three distinct concepts under one roof, including Verde Bakery for light lunches, Verde Paradiso for Mediterranean dishes, and Midori Sushi upstairs for fresh sushi and sashimi.
Verde Paradiso, which translates to Green Paradise, aims to provide a fresh take on dining by combining three diverse culinary experiences under one roof. The Mediterranean restaurant will specialize in fresh fish and meats, while Midori Sushi will offer a traditional sushi and sashimi menu. Verde Bakery will focus on lighter fare, such as salads and açaà bowls. The restaurant is designed to appeal to a broad range of customers with different dining preferences.
The venue will feature a lush outdoor patio surrounded by greenery, including bird of paradise plants and palm trees, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere for diners. Additionally, the full bar will offer a variety of alcoholic beverages, making it an ideal spot for both casual meals and evening cocktails.
Verde Paradiso will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. to cater to breakfast, lunch, and dinner crowds. The restaurant’s diverse menu options and vibrant ambiance are sure to make it a popular destination for locals and visitors alike.
Rey-Chavent, Marvisi, and Benoliel’s extensive experience in the hospitality industry, combined with Verde Paradiso’s prime location on Melrose Avenue, will make it a vibrant new dining destination in West Hollywood.
