Wallflour Pizza, formerly Quarantine Pizza Company, is preparing to open its first brick-and-mortar in Eagle Rock at 2128 W. Colorado Blvd.
The company’s first storefront is set to move into the former home of Aslan Mediterranean Cuisine and Camilo’s California Bistro, according to documentation submitted to the Los Angeles Planning Department. The social media of Wallflour Pizza shows the company decided to rebrand when they launched a brick-and-mortar, which is expected to open in early 2025, likely next month. This is the latest from owners Brandon and Carolina Conaway, who specialize in making sourdough pizza.
“Today marks the transition of Quarantine Pizza,” according to the company’s Instagram. “As we moved into our first brick-and-mortar, we thought, what better way to do so than with a fresh start? We love all of you who supported us from the pandemic & can’t wait to share this new project with you! So please help us welcome our newest project, Wallflour Pizza!”
While Wallflour Pizza is a new concept in the pizza scene, the company is already helping the community after the devastating wildfires that have affected various communities in Los Angeles. In the past week, the company opened its doors early to make and donate hot meals to those in need.
“Our hearts could not be more full after a day like this. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank everyone who donated their time, money, and anything in between,” according to the company’s social media. “It’s moments like this that make you realize how big our community is. Wishing the best for our first responders and firefighters, and everyone, please stay safe. Today, we had the pleasure of helping our friends donate more hot meals to those in need. It’s truly inspiring watching everyone come together. We love our city.”
