Yumé Handroll Bar is the latest restaurant tenant to secure space in DTLA’s Third & Traction development.

Yumé is slated to open in downtown’s Arts District in April 2020, at 806 E 3rd Street, according to a post on the restaurant’s Instagram page.

“Yumé Handroll Bar will be serving Japanese and Western-style handrolls and sashimi appetizers along with individual servings of sake and Japanese draft beer,” according to the social media post.

David Movsisian, the head chef at KATSU-YA, is a co-owner in the forthcoming Japanese eatery.

The restaurant will be situated in Suite C, a 1,580-square-foot unit adjacent to Apolis.

Other confirmed tenants for Third & Traction, a development by RYDA, include Death & Co, Terraza Cha Cha Cha, Kreation Organic, and LOQUI.

There are still several available restaurant and retail spaces for the mixed-use development, according to the latest marketing materials.

Situated on the same corner as the historic Joel Bloom Square, Third & Traction also offers live-work lofts.

It has five floors of rentable space including a basement designed to house a restaurant.
