What began as Dominick DiBartolomeo and his grandfather’s endearing tradition of marinating sun-dried tomatoes in his New York basement blossomed into a successful business of selling jars of the age-old family recipe among other fine products to top-rated restaurants and hotels in Los Angeles.
Named after his beloved grandfather, Domenico’s has largely sold its products at farmers markets across the greater Los Angeles area including Pasadena, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Larchmont Village, and Melrose Place.
However, DiBartolomeo is currently in the works of settling into his first brick-and-mortar shop at 9705-9709 Santa Monica Boulevard in Beverly Hills. Soon locals will be able to stop by Domenico’s storefront and browse its splendid inventory, which includes stuffed peppers, pestos, tapenades, sauces, lasagna, eggplant parmigiana, and fresh pasta. A pending license also suggests that Domenico’s may also offer alcoholic beverages.
An official opening date has not been announced; however, for a sneak peek of what’s to come you can visit Domenico’s fresh products available online.
