CVS Pharmacy has plans to build a new ground-up location in South Los Angeles’ West Park Terrace neighborhood.
The store will occupy a corner portion of the parking lot of the Ralphs at 1730 W Manchester Ave.
CVS’ address will be 8620 S. Western Avenue, however.
Its footprint will include an 11,656-square-foot lower level and a 1,712-square-foot mezzanine, according to plans filed with the City of Los Angeles.
There are also plans for a drive-through at the new CVS.
Boos Development, the real estate company overseeing the new build, has constructed several CVS locations throughout the west including the Utah outpost pictured above.
“We have approval from Ralphs to build a freestanding CVS Pharmacy location at this address,” a spokesperson for the chain Thursday confirmed in an email to What Now Los Angeles.
“We expect the store to open in 2022.”
