High-end resell sneaker and streetwear boutique The Laboratory is set to grand open its first Los Angeles store on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 1540 N Cahuenga Blvd, in the heart of Hollywood’s Cahuenga Corridor.
“The store will feature exclusive and rare sneakers and streetwear from some of the most coveted brands,” according to a press release Friday.
The Laboratory Hollywood is a joint venture between Shyon Keoppel and Landon Liddell and will be the brand’s third location joining the flagship store in Oklahoma City and the Dallas store, which opened its doors in 2019.
The Laboratory Hollywood will celebrate the official grand opening, which is open to the public, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
During the event, the first 25 customers that spend $500 or more will get a free Supreme bandana box logo shirt (valued at $350 USD).
In recent years, the Hollywood neighborhood has become a hot spot for new restaurants, retail stores and nightlife venues including 3rd Base LA, the popular sports bar and lounge also co-owned by Shyon Keoppel.
“We are excited to be the new kids on the block and offer a brand-new destination for people living, working and visiting the Hollywood area,” Keoppel said in the release.
The sneaker and streetwear community are thriving, and we look forward to becoming the premiere store for those in the market for rare and exclusive merchandise.”
The Laboratory Hollywood will surprise 20 children from The Boys & Girls Club Hollywood with Converse sneakers courtesy of Nike and exclusive shirts courtesy of The Laboratory Hollywood, as part of the opening.

The Laboratory Hollywood will be open Tuesday through Sunday and provides customers with the opportunity to schedule private appointments as well.
