Holey Moley Golf Club, a new destination for competitive socializing by Australian entertainment company Funlab, opened Friday, December 6, 2024 at Santa Monica’s Third Street Promenade. Spanning two floors and 9,748 square feet of space, the bar and lounge features cocktails and a playful take on comfort food; moody indoor/outdoor lounge spaces; karaoke room; and three putt putt courses in a multi-sensory environment – all with a hefty dose of nostalgia and pop culture.

Holey Moley features an array of signature and exclusive dishes and cocktails. Signature items include cocktails such as Rub A Dub in the Tub cocktail, served in a bathtub-shaped vessel and made with gin, Aperol, lime juice, and prosecco, spirit free libations and a menu of bites such as Nashville Hot Chicken Sliders, Fried Pickles, Grilled Eloté Corn Ribs, burgers, pizzas, and sweets from ice cream to Churros with Dulce de Leche.

Exclusive offerings unique to Santa Monica include Zesty Cucumber Spears with lime, jalapeño, and Tajin, Greek-style Fries with feta cheese, lemon, and oregano; and the cheeky It’s All in the Hips cocktail comprising Tequila Blanco, orange liqueur, citric acid and watermelon foam. Holey Moley Santa Monica also offers a selection of Sonoma County wines and a local, Santa Monica Pali Cali Pils.

In a space that pays homage to cultural icons from the 80s and 90s and beyond, Holey Moley is home to 27 themed mini-golf holes over three delightfully campy courses, including new and exclusive-to-Santa Monica holes such as “Friendless Summer,” a nod to a famous TV beach, featuring a rainbow lifeguard tower, sandcastles, surfboards and life preservers; “Beware The Drop Bears,” a putt through the red dirt of the Australian outback but beware of the native wildlife; and classics such as “Tee Rex,” “Morning Tee With Granny,” “Par for the Corpse,” and more.

The fun continues at the private atmospheric karaoke room, with space for up to 15 guests, where the state-of-the-art sound system, props and song selections spanning the latest chart toppers to 70s, 80s and 90s classics, literally set the stage for guests to unleash their inner pop or rockstar.

“It is an honor to officially open our doors and welcome all of Los Angeles to experience our special blend of fun and warm hospitality in an unforgettable setting thoughtfully designed for connecting,” said CEO Michael Schreiber in a statement. “We could not think of a better location than the iconic 3rd Street Promenade to stake our flag – one that embodies an inclusive, fun space for guests to connect in real life with some friendly social competition!”
