Online wholesale company Koshco Wholesale is opening its first storefront in Pico-Robertson, located at 8800 W Pico Blvd.
The new 3,830 square-foot market will have everything from frozen foods to bread and meats, all certified kosher. There is no known opening date for this market, as a representative from the market declined to comment. According to documents submitted to the Los Angeles Planning Department, the new market will have a butcher room, an area for alcohol storage, and a total of 26 seats. The market has proposed hours of 8 am to 10 pm daily and will have a 12-car parking lot in the back.
The storefront will contain several items, as seen on their website. Although they take pride in having a surplus of necessary supplies for the kitchen and household, the company constantly adds new items. Some of their newest items include select wines, dried salami, brownie mix, and several chicken cuts.
The new market will move into Southern California’s epicenter of Jewish life at the corner of Pico and Robertson. There are several kosher-friendly restaurants and markets in the area, including the new Deli and BBQ from Schwartz Bakery. Koshco Wholesale will have its stock of over 1,000 products to help separate itself from other nearby kosher markets.
