Since opening its first store in 1990, Out of the Closet has offered affordable clothing and household goods while supporting public health initiatives. Its welcoming atmosphere has helped the chain expand to 25 stores across nine states.

Over the years, Out of the Closet has been recognized nationally for both its retail presence and public health programs. It operates 25 stores across nine states, but the store in LA’s Atwater Village is special. It’s the original location, first opened in 1990, and it has been serving the community for 35 years.
