Sephora is coming to open-air shopping center Fig at 7th — stylized as “FIGat7th” — in DTLA later this year, according to an announcement Monday.

Sephora is targeting a summer 2021 debut, at 735 S. Figueroa St., in the center’s lower level (M1) between LensCrafters and George’s Greek Grill, and adjacent to the Taste Food Hall Courtyard. Sephora replaces Gulp Sushi Alehouse, a Fig at 7th spokesperson confirmed in an email Monday to What Now Los Angeles.

The LVMH-owned beauty company will retail more than 400 brands encompassing cosmetics, skincare, body, fragrance, nail color, beauty tools, body lotions, and haircare products. While Sephora has roughly 20 locations sprinkled throughout L.A. County, this will be the first downtown outpost for the company, according to its website.

Sephora joins a flagship Zara and H&M, and Nordstrom Rack, Target, Bath & Body Works, Gold’s Gym, and more, in the Brookfield Properties center. Nextdoor, Brookfield is building a residential tower which is expected to top out at 64 stories.
