Founded “in a yellow truck on the streets of NYC in 2008,” Van Leeuwen Ice Cream has become a force in premium, feel-good ice cream, with locations all across the East Coast, as well as in Texas and California.

“Nowadays, people can spend so much time on what’s “healthy” they don’t stop to consider what’s healthy,” reads the ice cream brand’s website. “As far as we’re concerned, happiness is healthiness… This is our way. The good way. The Van Leeuwen way. Not just the best way to make ice cream, but to live.”

As the brand’s rollout in the South Florida market picks up, Van Leeuwen has already opened its first scoop shop in Miami Beach, with additional locations already known to be in the works in West Palm Beach and Delray Beach.

An additional location now appears to be coming down the pipeline too. The company recently submitted plan review paperwork for a new Van Leeuwen Ice Cream opening at 11701 Lake Victoria Gardens Ave in Downtown Palm Beach Gardens.

What Now reached out on Wednesday to Van Leeuwen President & COO Corey Segal to inquire about plans for a new location in Palm Beach Gardens. Segal was not immediately available for comment.

Van Leeuwen Ice Cream’s mouthwatering flavors include Peanut Butter Brownie Honey Comb, Praline Butter Cake, Earl Gray Tea, and Buttermilk Berry Cornbread. And if you’re a dairy-free eater, there are still plenty of choices, with flavors like Vegan Churros & Fudge, Vegan Chocolate Cookie Dough Honey Comb, and Vegan Cookies & Cream Caramel Swirl.
