What Now reported last November on plans for a new 100 Montaditos opening in Pembroke Pines, at 12588 Pines Blvd, Suite 104. The Spanish restaurant chain’s opening in that location now appears to be imminent. It’s been growing in popularity in recent years, adding locations in South Florida to its portfolio that includes hundreds of units in Spain.
“At 100 Montaditos, every meal is a celebration,” says the brand’s website. “Our menu is packed with mouth-watering options that are sure to satisfy any craving. Catch up with friends over a pitcher of sangria, or enjoy a family dinner, with the best quality at the best price. So come on in and join the 100 Montaditos family. We can’t wait to serve you!”
Meanwhile, another location is also planned for Coral Gables, at 327 Alhambra Cir, near the intersection with Salzedo Street.
What Now reached out on Wednesday to Ignacio García Nieto, managing director of 100 Montaditos USA, to ask about plans for the launch in Coral Gables.
“We’re hoping for next week,” García Nieto said.
As if that weren’t enough, a third new location is also in the works. Unlike the Pembroke Pines and Coral Gables locations, it’s not yet searchable on Google Maps, but it is listed on the 100 Montaditos website: 1643 SW Eighth St, in Calle 8.
No opening timeline is available yet for the Calle 8 location.
