The Mayfair in the Grove development in Coconut Grove is continuing to build out its restaurant portfolio as construction starts on a new steakhouse, 1986 Steakhouse.

Details on 1986 Steakhouse are still under wraps. What Now reached out on Wednesday to co-owner Hector Rolon to ask about the concept, its opening timeline, and its projected menu.

According to coverage by The Burn Miami, 1986 Steakhouse is connected to the recently shutter PM Fish & Steakhouse, an Argentinian steakhouse concept. Should we expect an Argentinian flare to the menu?

Well, for now, all we can do is wait and see. Rolon said it was too early to share any menu details as the project is “still in construction.”

Opening in a prime location, 1986 Steakhouse will join resaturants like Carbone Vino, Sushi Garage, El Bagel, and lots more.

No opening timeline is available just yet for 1986 Steakhouse.
