Chef Olivia Ostrow Launches Maison Ostrow in Miami
The 3,500-square-foot restaurant is filled with design touches that reflect Ostrow’s vision. From the quirky, artsy interior to the fusion menu, the restaurant brings Chef Olivia’s vision to life.
“Maison Ostrow is bigger, bolder, and designed to transport you,” says Ostrow, adding, “It’s where France, Italy, Spain, and Greece collide in the most beautiful way, filtered through my Parisian lens. We’re redefining what kosher dining can be, and making it sexy.”
Inside, Maison Ostrow seats 145 and features a private dining room and a Chef’s Table. With 40 seats and views of Biscayne Bay, the terrace sets the stage for brunches and sunset spritzes.
Interiors combine deep green tones, stone finishes, gold accents, and pieces from Ostrow’s eclectic art collection. The restaurant is located in North Bay Village at 10666 79th Street Causeway, Suite 102, and will open on August 17.
The eatery will be open from Sunday to Friday from 11.30 AM to 3.30 PM, with happy hours from 4 PM to 5 PM. Guests can enjoy dinner Sundays through Thursdays from 5 PM to 11 PM, along with seasonal winter hours on Saturday evenings.
Brunch service will launch later this year on Sundays and holidays.
Menu with French-Jewish roots
Maison Ostrow’s menu is Mediterranean-influenced and draws from Chef Olivia’s French-Jewish background. Tuna Tartare on Brioche with Caviar and Quail Egg, Whole Grilled Fish Platters, Ora King Salmon Carpaccio with Citrus and Truffle are some of the highlights.
Other specials include Dry-Aged Steaks, Homemade Pastas, and Cod Beignets. The menu includes the chef’s decadent Bread and Butter service, which she says is a “love letter to the Mediterranean”.
The restaurant will debut a five- to seven-course rotating Chef’s Tasting Menu with seasonal pairings. It will also launch the Maison Ostrow Catering that will offer kosher service for galas and other private parties.
Maison Ostrow’s in-house Épicerie will feature sauces, rillettes, and vegan butters. The bar serves French-Mediterranean cocktails, from elevated spritzes to house infusions, created with a top mixologist. The restaurant also has non-alcoholic options like saffron gin and tonic and Negroni.
Guests can also expect elevated spirits and creative house infusions. The wine offerings will primarily showcase French and Mediterranean varieties, selected to complement the menu.
