Located on the southwestern corner of Northwest 16th Street and North State Road 7, Lauderhill Mall is preparing to augment its food and drink options with a new cafe. Called Ada’s Coffee, it’s opening at 1267 NW 40th Avenue, according to submitted plan review paperwork.

“We have empanadas—spinach, chicken, and beef, all baked,” Ada, who owns Ada’s Coffee, told What Now on Friday.

This list goes on, and it sounds great: guava cheese pastries, cheese tequeños, cheese arepas, ice cream, and plenty of coffee options, including lattes, cappuccinos, and macchiatos (served hot or iced).

It’s a brand new start for the cafe, which closed in a previous location before reopening in Lauderhill. Ada said an opening date has to be officially set.

Opening at Lauderhill Mall, Ada’s Coffee will join a food and beverage community that includes restaurants like Crafty Crab, Nothing But Wings, Charlie’s Pastries, Tropitaste.
