A new take on a longstanding chain from Quebec, Canada is on its way to Hallandale Beach. Arahova Fresh Greek and Milano’s Italiano Coffee and Gelato will open in a dual-branded location at 613 W Hallandale Beach Blvd. Unit 7, as Arahova Milano’s.

The first of the two concepts is based on (and made in partnership with) Arahova, which has offered a menu of Greek favorites (with a particularly famous tzatziki) in Quebec for more than fifty years.

“We have taken a proven concept from Montreal, and [we’re] bringing it to share with South Florida,” co-owner Anna To told What Now on Monday. “Arahova Milano’s is a new duo concept café bistro specializing in traditional authentic Greek gyro wraps and bowls, fine Italian specialty coffee, Italian ice cream, and European pastries.”

To is opening Arahova Milano’s in partnership with her husband Roussel Lamothe, George Calogrias, and Sam Dell’Aquila, with the motto #UNAFACCIAUNARAZZA, or in English, #ONEFACEONERACE.

“We believe that world is one race,” To said. “We love people and are obsessed with serving great-tasting food. We believe that we can help unite all races and cultures through serving delicious, quality Greek and Italian delicacies in a fun, relaxed environment.”

Arahova Milano’s first location will be part of a newly constructed retail center on West Hallandale Beach Boulevard, near the intersection with Southwest Sixth Avenue. The space comes in at about 1,000 square feet and will feature several tables and chairs with an emphasis on take out orders. To says there are hopes for future locations which will focus on more space for dine-in customers.

Stay tuned for more on these Canadian classics headed to South Florida.
