It’s shaping up to be a big year for Ariete Hospitality Group. The Michelin-recognized hospitality company, known for restaurants like Ariete and Chug’s Diner, recently opened its much-anticipated Italian restaurant Da Angelino and is currently at work on a permanent Coconut Grove location for Raheem Sealey’s Drinking Pig BBQ (together with Mae’s Group). On top of all that, it’s also at work on a brand new concept: Chuggie’s.

Chuggie’s, which will open next door to Chug’s Diner, is still something of an unknown quantity at the moment, apart from the bare bones.

“It will focus on hamburgers and fritas—the well-known Cuban take on a burger usually made with spices, onions, and shoestring potatoes,” says coverage by the The Burn Miami. “It will also offer soft serve ice cream.”

“Burgers, Fritas, Soft Serve,” says a post on the Chuggies Instagram page. “Coming to Coconut Grove 2025!”

Chuggies will open together with several other Ariete restaurants at 3444 Main Highway.
