Located at 18201B Biscayne Boulevard, Golden Chariot Indian Restaurant serves up consistent classics from Indian cuisine—and now, it’s expanding to Davie, where it will start serving up the same great menu at 2060 S University Drive.
The restaurant’s capacious list of offerings opens with Appetizers like Vegetable Samosa, Paneer Pakora, and Onion Pakora. From there, we move on to Tandoori dishes like Tandoori Chicken and Tandoori Lamb Chops and Biryani with proteins like chicken, shrimp, and lamb.
On the entrée side, there are plenty of choices for vegetarians, like Aloo Gobi (Cauliflower and potatoes sautéed with fresh herbs), Paneer Tikka Masala, and Vegetable Korma. If you’re a carnivore, you can enjoy dishes like Lamb Vindaloo, Kadhai Chicken (Boneless chicken pieces cooked with ginger, onion, green pepper and tomatoes), and Fish Goan Curry.
What Now confirmed news of the opening with owner Vadivel Murugesan on Friday. When can we expect an opening? What Now asked.
“We don’t have a date yet,” Murugesan said. Murugesan did, however, confirm that you can expect all the same great dishes found in Aventura.
Opening in the Tower Shops, Golden Chariot Indian Restaurant will join a food and drink community that includes Flanigan’s, Miller’s Ale House, Twin Peaks, Francisca Charcoal Chicken & Meats, and more.
You can keep up with the opening by following @goldenchariotaventura on Instagram.
