The City of Hollywood will be able to enjoy Brooklyn-style bagels when Bagels & Co. opens its doors soon.
The bagel shop is opening at 303 S. Federal Highway — a short stroll from Hollywood’s beloved Arts Park in Young Circle. Signage has already been posted on the windows, but an opening date has not been announced.
When it arrives, Hollywood residents can expect more than a dozen kinds of bagels including French toast, cheddar habanero, everything, blueberry, cinnamon raisin and whole wheat — all baked on premises daily. Of course, a bagel needs a schmear, and Bagels & Co. offers one for every taste including savory flavors like bacon cheddar, black truffle, sriracha scallion, and vegan tofu; and sweet options like birthday cake, cookie monster, and honey nut. Bagels & Co. also serves breakfast sandwiches, special limited-edition flavors, parfaits, pastries, and grab-and-go items. The restaurant also sells La Colombe coffee, tea, and other drinks.
If you’re in South Florida and can’t wait for Hollywood to open, Bagels & Co. Pompano Beach (1162 N Federal Highway) is celebrating its grand opening on Tuesday, March 24. From 8 to 10 a.m., the first 100 guests will receive a free can of flavored La Colombe coffee, as well as a coupon to redeem a free bagel and schmear on their next visit.
