Founded in 2014, South Florida’s own Latin fusion restaurant Bocas Grill has grown to include locations in Doral, Brickell, Miami, and Kendall—plus another restaurant in Orlando. Now, the growth appears to be continuing, with a new Bocas Grill planned for Miami Gardens.

Plan review paperwork submitted by Bocas Grill Miami Lakes LLC shows a new Bocas Grill opening at 16075 NW 57th Ave, alongside Red Road.

“We are a fusion of Latin American cuisines, a feast of flavors that will take you on a gastronomic journey to South America,” says the Bocas Grill website. “Through teamwork and lots of effort, we deliver an honest and emotional message to the world: ‘In Arepa We Trust.’”

The Miami menu features (among a wide range of appetizers, ceviches, soups, salads, and more) Arepas varieties like Pork Belly (Crispy Pork Belly with Grilled White Cheese, accompanied by cilantro aioli) and Simon Bolivar (Picanha on the Grill, Llanero Cheese, Cilantro Aioli with Pico de Gallo). Entrees from the grill include Parrilla Surf & Turf and Parrilla Mixta.

What Now reached out on Friday to Uber Mantovani, a partner in Bocas Group, which owns Bocas Grill. Mantovani declined to comment on the news.
