Locally owned rotisserie chicken restaurant, C.R. Chicks, is opening a new spot in Boynton Beach.
The restaurant will open at the shopping center anchored by Publix at the northwest corner of Boynton Beach Boulevard and Jog Road, at 6677 Boynton Beach Boulevard in the fall of 2026, the Palm Beach Post reports.
The Palm Beach-born rotisserie chicken restaurant was founded in 1992 by Rick Davis and Chris Sallen. In 2024, a group of investors led by Jonathan Luther, Jon Luther, Sr., and Dan Bowers took over the restaurant, with Sallen retaining an advisor role. Currently, there are seven locations of the fast-casual spot.
The key to C.R. Chicks’ popularity lies in its rotisserie chicken, sourced from a single farm in southern Alabama. The chickens are cleaned and seasoned with lemon pepper, then basted with house-made marinade and sea salt before being slow roasted over Brazilian oak logs. The chickens are prepared to order, and all sides, dressings, and sauces are made from scratch.
The menu revolves around the chicken, which can be ordered as a meal, in a sandwich, or as a whole bird. The restaurant also offers, salads, sides, and pastas, and if you’re hankering for a sweet ending to dinner all pies, cookies, and breads are baked in house.
