Del Mar, the Mediterranean restaurant chain from Cameron Mitchell Restaurants with locations in Columbus and Naples, FL, is bringing its “Good Vibrations, Great Libations,” to South Florida. Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, which is also behind concepts like Ocean Prime and Prime Social, is launching a new Del Mar in Fort Lauderdale, on the first floor of the Auberge Beach Residences tower, according to coverage by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

“This scenic beachfront destination will be an iconic fit for our first waterfront location as we deliver an elevated dining experience where modern elegance meets vibrant flavors,” said Cameron Mitchell Restaurants COO David Miller said in a statement quoted in the Sun-Sentinel coverage.

At the Auberge Beach Residences, you’ll be able to try flavors that have included (glancing at the Naples dinner menu) dishes like Lobster Spaghetti, Truffle Agnolotti, and Scallops with Romanesco, couscous, roasted pepper purée, and preserved lemon.

What Now reached out to David Miller on Thursday to inquire about plans for the restaurant’s launch. Miller was not immediately available for comment.

The Sun-Sentinel says the new location is expecting an opening in October.
