A new brewery is on its way to Hallandale Beach. Called Cara Palida Brewery, the new beer brewer will open at 207 NE First Ave., according to a recent plan review. In addition to beer production, the 5,000 square foot will also house space for guests to enjoy food and drink, co-owner Flavia Abarca told What Now on Wednesday.

“It’s going to be bar food,” Abarca said. On the beer side, Abarca added, expect refreshing beers: IPAs, blonde ales, ciders, and more—a total of about 20 different varieties.

The team bringing Cara Palida Brewery to Hallandale Beach is also behind Untoasted, a diner on Hallandale Beach Boulevard offering breakfast and lunch every day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cara Palida is expected to seat about 100 guests inside, and it will also have outdoor seating, Abarca said.

The Northeast First Avenue location is situated just south of the intersection with Northeast Third Street, where Ceviche Avenue sits on the northeast corner. Other nearby food and beverage spots include Icebox Cafe and Jessica Abraham Pastries.
