What Now on Tuesday found a plan review filing with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation for a new Hollywood location of Carrot Express. Ultimately, this led us to a conversation with Michael Schatten, the brand’s Director of Operations, who queued us into a larger expansion initiative.
Currently, the brand’s website displays six forthcoming units from Miami to Fort Lauderdale. Missing from this roundup is the one unit we found that is planned for 1818 Hollywood Boulevard, where the apartment building 1818 Park resides. But that is not all: Schatten reports that the company has leases signed and letters of intent spanning Florida and New York.
More information about the expansion at this time is unknown. What Now is waiting for other officials from the brand to reach out with more details about the expansion and the opening dates for the locations mentioned above.
The brand is centered around healthy eating, and they offer a menu ranging from power bowls, salads and wraps to burgers and platters. To separate the more indulgent dishes from the healthy, the brand has a “Healthy” tab on their website.
