Casa Vigil Miami announces the grand opening of El Cielo by Casa Vigil, a speakeasy rooftop bar. Guests are invited to indulge in a fusion of Argentinian-inspired gastronomy and craft mixology.
“At El Cielo, we’ve crafted an environment where every element is an invitation to indulge in the extraordinary,” says Nicolas Boffi, Co-Owner of Casa Vigil Miami in a statement. “From the ambient lighting that mimics the stars to the hand-painted murals that tell stories of mythical lands, every detail is designed to transport our guests into a world of wonder.”
At El Cielo, the dynamic setting evolves with the energy of the day, transforming into a nighttime experience filled with intrigue and discovery. The cocktail program, artfully designed by master mixologists, draws inspiration from mythical figures such as sages, virgins and gods. These characters, reflected through tarot cards and murals, guide guests on a sensory journey, offering drink recommendations aligned with their mystical message. Creations include the Yemaya, crafted with gin infused with butterfly pea flowers, coconut syrup, and pineapple juice, served in a striking, tentacle-legged glass; the Lucifer, featuring reposado tequila, chili-infused agave, a blend of four citrus fruits, and cinnamon in a skull-shaped vessel; and the Afrodita, a blend of flower-infused vodka, lychee juice, raspberry shrub, and bubbles.
The carefully curated wine list features the best of Alejandro Vigil, complemented by international labels. Unique wine, mezcal, and sake flights—such as the signature Enemigo Flight—add to the adventure. Each Saturday, a guest bartender will craft an exclusive drink of the day, named after a celestial figure.
Guests can indulge in a curated selection of Argentine dishes prepared by Executive Chef Mikel Goikolea with fine dining techniques and presented in a shareable, family-style format. Each dish offers a modern twist on traditional Argentine flavors, thoughtfully paired with the extensive collection of Argentine wines and international labels. Highlights from the menu include Empanadas (oxtail, skirt steak or spinach), Oysters, Pork Belly Tacos with Avocado and Pickles, and Tuna Tartare among others.
The rooftop’s music program features a curated selection of electrifying house beats from resident and guest DJs, creating a euphoric rhythm that pulsates through the night. The ambiance and lighting are designed to complement the overall experience, making each visit to El Cielo feel like an escape to a higher dimension.
El Cielo draws inspiration from Dante’s Divine Comedy, capturing the essence of his journey through Paradise. As Dante ascends, meeting his beloved Beatrice, he is captivated by the brilliance of light, vibrant colors, rich aromas, and the beauty of nature reflected in her gaze. El Cielo invites guests to experience their own version of Paradise on Earth. The space is adorned with Renaissance-inspired murals reminiscent of the works of Da Vinci and Michelangelo, where frescoes evoke a sense of awe and grandeur. Stepping into El Cielo feels like entering a realm where every detail reflects beauty and sophistication.
“El Cielo is more than just a rooftop bar; it’s a portal to another dimension,” says Julieta Rosales, El Cielo’s experience curator. “Designed to offer a unique and immersive experience, every session marks the seamless transition from day into vibrant nightlife. We blend exceptional mixology, distinctive flavors, and house music to craft a high-energy atmosphere of unparalleled quality.”
