Marc Falsetto, the South Florida restaurateur behind names such as Tacocraft, Pizza Craft, and the renaissance of Anthony’s Runway 84,  is channeling 1980s excess and glamor for his new Fort Lauderdale endeavor.

Caviar Club, the first restaurant under his new Falsetto Hospitality (formerly Handcrafted Hospitality) umbrella, will open at 833 E. Las Olas Boulevard in 2026 as a big bonanza of a supper club that Falsetto hopes will be the start of a renaissance for Fort Lauderdale’s most famous street.

“Caviar Club is not a continuation of what has come, but a huge, brash, no-holds-barred step forward in dining and nightlife; a glamorous and sophisticated escape where fashion meets food and indulgence reigns supreme. The vision is for it to become a driving force to elevate Las Olas to the position of Fort Lauderdale’s premiere street, our own Rodeo Drive right here in the 954.”

Caviar Club will embrace the 1980s aesthetic of “more is more” with animal prints, Art-Deco-style lighting, rich woods, and imported furniture.  Staff will be draped in custom Dolce & Gabbana finery.

The menu also offers a tinge of nostalgia served with a touch of class: Dover sole fileted tableside, a French dip with its au jus served in a Baccarat crystal dish, and Prime dry-aged steaks carved to order.  Of course, a restaurant named Caviar Club will offer plenty of it: caviar service, caviar topped entrees, and seafood towers.

The cocktail menu will feature classic martinis inspired by New York’s Bemelmans Bar and the St. Regis Hotel, and a wine program will include more than 300 French and American labels.

“We took classic American comfort food and gave it a high-fashion twist. Steaks, caviar, martinis — all the essentials — but with a wink. It’s indulgent and nostalgic at the same time, like a great night out in the city that just keeps getting better,” says Falsetto.

Caviar Club’s energy will shift into high gear as the evening progresses. When the dinner hour ends, a DJ will set the tone with a curated playlist.

For years, Fort Lauderdale has been considered Miami’s more laid-back little sister, but the perception has been changing with the introduction of Michelin-worthy restaurants and high-end residences.  Falsetto is here for the city’s transition from beach town to glittering destination. “Fort Lauderdale has changed — and so have the people who live here. They travel, they know great restaurants, and they crave something refined. Caviar Club is where that new crowd comes to play — luxury without pretense, style without limits.”
