Chip City Cookies (Chip City), NYC’s fastest-growing gourmet cookie chain is opening their SECOND (Delray) and THIRD (Miami) location in South Florida this month. The first 100 customers will be getting a FREE cookie.
Chip City rotates more than forty unique flavors every year, such as Peanut Butter & Jelly, the Everything Cookie, Oatmeal Apple Pie, Blueberry Cheesecake, S’Mores, Lemon Berry, and the Cannoli Cookie, each week the menu changes to offer classic flavors, seasonal varieties and always offers dairy free options. This year they successfully rolled out the Chocolate Cupcake Cookie, Frootie Crunch, and most recently, debuted their Thin Chips and Chip Crookies (buttery, flaky croissant stuffed with cookie dough).
Chip City Cookies recently closed a $7.5 million Series B investment from Enlightened Hospitality Investments (Co-founder and Managing Partner Danny Meyer), which brings the total amount raised from EHI to $17.5 million. The financing enables continued investment in growing Chip City’s brick and mortar locations throughout the United States, as well as in people, services, and creative collaborations to further strengthen its brand position within the competitive cookie segment.
Chip City was born in Astoria, Queens (New York) in July of 2017 as a hobby between two childhood friends (Peter Phillips & Teddy Gailas) who sought to recreate the simple taste of their childhood. What began as a fun challenge to see who could create the best cookie turned into Chip City. A small storefront, some equipment, and a dream led the entrepreneurial team, the brand currently now has over 35 locations across NYC + Long Island, NJ, CT, FL, MD, VA, MA, IL and plans to enter into new markets in 2024.
Chip City DELRAY is located at 302 E Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach and will open on Friday, May 17.
Chip City BISCAYNE is located at 7285 Biscayne Blvd, Miami and will open on Friday, May 31.
