Monarch Town Center, a retail center anchored by a Publix Supermarket and situated to the northwest of South Flamingo Road and Southwest 33rd St., looks to be getting a Chipotle Mexican Grill. A recent plan review indicates a new Chipotle location is planned at 12581 Miramar Parkway.

The chain is coming up on 3,000 total locations in operation, with approximately 220 locations in the state of Florida. It’s a massive operation, and its South Florida footprint only continues to grow.

The chain’s menu of burritos, bowls, tacos, and quesadillas will be familiar to most Americans by now. Guests choose their culinary delivery system (burrito, bowl, etc.) and fill in their own choices from a selection of proteins like steak, chicken, carnitas, barbacoa, and more. These are topped off with choices of rice, beans, and other toppers like salsa, guac, cheese, and veggies.

The location on Miramar Parkway will be part of Monarch Town Center’s food and drink community, which includes brands like Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and Smoothie King.

No opening date has been announced for a Miramar Chipotle Mexican Grill.
