Boasting nearly 1000 locations nationwide as of the beginning of this year, Cold Stone Creamery has made a name for itself “serving up the Ultimate Ice Cream Experience in-store, online, and even delivering ice cream right to your door!” More Cold Stone growth looks to be in works for the South Florida market, as a submitted plan review shows a new location planned for 8733 SW 136th Street, part of The Falls shopping mall.
The Kendall shopping center is home to more than 100 stores, with a wide range of dining options, including BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, Bulla Gastrobar, P.F. Chang’s, Shake Shack, and more. What’s missing? Cold Stone!
“Each flavor is churned with the finest ingredients and mixed with your choice of candy, cakes, fruits, or nuts on a frozen granite stone,” says the Cold Stone website. “Order ice cream, ice cream cakes, shakes, and other frozen treats online for pickup or delivery. Enjoy a 10-minute vacation® with us or in the comfort of your home.”
The brand is currently serving up limited-time Halloween choices like the 21 Nights of Monster Mash Creation (Classic Cookie Dough Ice Cream, M&M’S MINIS Peanut Butter Chocolate Candies, Oats & Chocolate Chips), the Witches’ Boo Shake (Boo Batter Ice Cream, Halloween OREO Cookies & Spooky Sprinkles) and the Treat or Treat Creation (Boo Batter™ Ice Cream, KIT KAT®, Halloween OREO® Cookies & M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Candies).
What Now reached out on Monday to Cold Stone franchisee Daine Garcia to inquire about plans for a new Cold Stone at The Falls. Garcia was not immediately available for comment.
