It’s been a little more than two years since What Now reported on plans to open a new Cucina Moderna in Miramar. That location has since opened successfully, the third location for the Italian restaurant brand, which is now preparing to launch a fourth, this time in Fort Lauderdale, at 721 N Federal Highway.

What Now reached out on Tuesday to owner Christopher Vingiano to ask about plans for the opening. Vingiano said you can expect to find the same menu in Fort Lauderdale that you find Miramar.

There, you can find Brick Oven Pizzas like the Rugola & Prosciutto and the Shrimp Scampi; House Specialties including pastas dishes like Baked Ziti and Meatballs & Sunday Gravy; or Land & Sea dishes ranging from Chicken Francese to Creamy Pesto & Colossal Shrimp.

As far as the opening timeline, it’s more difficult to be sure, Vingiano says.

“We don’t have an exact date yet; we’re still in the construction period. We’re targeting June, if there are no delays.”

Like the Miramar location, Cucina Moderna Fort Lauderdale will feature a full bar, a Bar Bites menu, and a focus on excellent service that offers something to everyone.

“Cucina Moderna is the only pace where you can find an Italian restaurants that serves the best pizza, salads, and seafood in the city,” says the brand’s website. “We take great pride in our diverse menu that caters to any taste. When you walk in, you will be welcomed by a warm atmosphere and excellent service.”
