A new gelato spot is preparing to open its doors in Miami Beach’s thriving Lincoln Road restaurant community. A plan review submitted by Gelato Group LLC shows Davinci Gelato opening at 645 Lincoln Road, between Meridian and Pennsylvania Avenues.
What Now reached out on Monday to co-owner Chris Minadakis to ask about the gelato shop’s opening and the details of its planned menu.
Minadakis said Davinci Gelato is working towards an opening before the end of 2024 but declined to make any further comment at this time.
Opening in the Lincoln Road location, Davinci Gelato will join a restaurant community with a considerable roster, ranging from The Cheesecake Factory, to Pizza Tua, to Salt & Straw. (There’s also Lobster Shack, Ole Ole Steak House, Osmanlizadeler Baklava Inc., and more.)
