Founded in 2003, Dimitri’s Farmer’s Market Restaurant is a longstanding family-owned breakfast and lunch place located at 1257 W Atlantic Blvd. After serving as a place where “a friendly smile awaits with country flare” for years in its current home, the restaurant is now planning to relocate.

But don’t worry; Dimitri’s isn’t going far. Plan review paperwork submitted by Mistras Inc shows a new opening for “Dimitri’s Restaurant” planned for 1265 W Atlantic Boulevard. That’s just next door!

What Now reached out on Tuesday to Kalliopi Tsakiris, one of the owners of Dimitri’s to ask if it’s the true that the restaurant is planning to move to a nearby building. Tsakiris confirmed the news but said it’s still too early to share more details.

“It’s going to be after maybe 7 or 8 months,” Tsakiris said.

Rated 4.6 on Yelp, the restaurant serves popular breakfast choices like French Toast and a fancy breakfast sandwich served on a croissant with home fries, along with a selection of sandwiches, salads, and pitas like the Gyro Pita and the Souvlaki Pita.

You can keep up with all things Dimitri’s by following the restaurant on Facebook.
